Since 1974, David Charvet has been amazing and amusing audiences around the world with his fast-paced blend of award-winning magic, clean comedy and audience-participation.
David Charvet has performed for many Fortune 500 companies including Nike, Intel, Tektronix, Hewlett Packard, Price Waterhouse, PacifiCorp, Avia Sportswear, Lattice Semi Conductor, In-Focus Systems, Arco, and numerous others.
He has appeared at The Magic Castle in Hollywood, Kiel Opera House in St. Louis, Taft Theater in Cincinnati, University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, The Forum Auditorium in Harrisburg, Shrine Auditorium in Columbus, Murat Theater in Indianapolis, Exposition Center in Denver, Paramount Theater in Portland, Centennial Theater in Vancouver, B.C. Canada, and many others throughout North America.
He has performed repeat engagements on board the S.S. Norway in the Caribbean, and the M.S. Westerdam in Alaska, and M.S. Seaward, also in the Caribbean.
His Television appearances include NHK Network Magic Special in Japan, Neat Stuff on The Learning Channel, The Collectibles Show on E! Entertainment Network; ABC, NBC, CBS and PBS Network and Affiliates, and in radio and television commercials from coast to coast.
He is a member of The Magic Castle in Hollywood, Associate of the Inner Magic Circle in London, England, the Society of American Magicians in New York, and the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

Situation comedy, audience participation and magic all rolled into one action-packed show suitable for mixed adult audiences of all ages. And don't worry - Charvet's comedy is always clean. The show is flexible from 10 minutes to 60 minute. May be presented practically anywhere. No extras to buy or rent. Charvet brings lights and sound if needed.
 • FULL-STAGE ILLUSION SHOW •
Classic grand illusions, live on stage. This is a large show suitable for theaters, hotel ballrooms and other venues seating from 200 to 2000 people. Contact us for more information on this show that will leave your group talking for days afterward. Flexible in time from 30 minutes to 90 minutes.
• MAGIC UP-CLOSE •
Perfect for cocktail hour or before dinner gatherings. Micro-miracles performed "right before your eyes" using cards, coins and other small objects. Help get the fun and conversation rolling with your group. Available in half-hour increments.
• ESP SHOW •
An entertaining and amazing "journey to the center of the mind" presented by Charvet and nationally-known psychic enigma, Monique St. Claire. Are ESP and mind reading a reality? Decide for yourself after witnessing this unique performance. Flexible in time or can be incorporated as part of the MagiComedy or Full-Stage Illusion shows. Ask for details.
A Few Recent Appearances
 Performing on the Grand Prize winnning float, "Magic: The Science of Illusion" sponsored by Meier & Frank stores during the 98th Portland, Oregon ROSE FESTIVAL GRAND FLORAL PARADE. Seen by 500,00 people on the streets of Portland and over 2 million around the world on television. Charvet made a bouquet of roses bloom "as if by magic."
The Vanishing Horse
 Yes, Charvet recently made a live horse disappear during a performance for a group of magic aficionados near Portland. An original mystery, designed by Charvet.
(Yes, the horse did reappear after the performance!) The horse, "Alf", is a 10 year-old minature who stands 32" tall and is a member of the Charvet family!
