Pianist and keyboardist Craig Bidondo has been performing on the West Coast for over 20 years. Originally from Alaska, Craig studied music in Los Angeles before moving to the Portland area in 1988, and has been playing with professional groups in the Pacific Northwest ever since. His fresh jazz sound has been influenced by his years of playing not only jazz but also classical, rock, gospel and roots music.

Besides backing up local talents such as Johnny Martin, the Swizzle Chicks, Skip vonKuske, and the Art Abrams Swing Machine Big Band, Craig has performed as a solo artist and bandleader at restaurants, weddings, parties, art shows and corporate events throughout the West Coast. Some of the local venues that have enjoyed his music include Persimmon Country Club, the Benson Hotel, the Jenkins Estate, the Heathman Hotel, The Caswell-Martin Gallery, The Columbia Gorge Hotel, The Shilo Inn on Airport Way, and many other locations.

Craig recently, March 2007, concluded, being Musical Director of the wildly successful, "Menopause, The Musical" that packed the house at the Newmark Theater for eight months.

He appears every Sunday evening, at the beautiful, Riverview Restaurant, along the Sandy River in Troutdale. 5-6pm, solo, 6-9pm Duo with bassist, Tim Gilson.

In April 2007, he played for a Cabaret Review show with Broadway Rose Theater Company.

He also frequently accompanies the Swing Sisters who specialize in all the great hits of the 1940's and 50's.

He can also be heard playing on Monday evenings at the elegant, new Tony Starlight's Supper Club on NE 37th and Sandy Blvd.

Join him for Saturday lunch (11 am – 1 pm) at Jazzy Bagels (corner of Powell and Main in downtown Gresham, OR).
