Entertainment Biography:

Music and theatre have played a major part in my life. At every stage, from grade school through college, I have been a member of a singing ensemble, whether they were school or church choirs. I have taken that background and expanded upon it throughout life, alternating between ensemble, stage and solo work.

Professional Experience:

Satori Men’s Chorus: January 2008 – Present
• Member of Satori Men’s Chorus, Portland, Oregon – Selected as Section Leader

Choir Director, Unity Church of Portland (Oregon): 2000 – 2007
• Member of American Choral Directors Association
• Responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing Choral Music Program
• Conductor of non-auditioned church choir, increasing their musical knowledge and ability
• Established the choir as Guest Performers, coordinating their appearance at various venues
• Produced and directed secular fund-raising concerts throughout my tenure, incorporating visiting artists within the choir’s performances, working with such performers as David York, Vickie Anne Hammer, and Richard Carpenter
• Created and adapted various musical selections for performance

Professional Theatre and Music:

• Performed in various stage presentations, both musical and dramatic, appearing in fixed location productions and in touring shows
• “Finian’s Rainbow” – lead, “HMS Pinafore”, “Peter Pan” (an original musical production), “Spoon River Anthology” (an original musical production), two separate productions of “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “The Rainmaker” – lead, “Da”, among many others
• Performed in various screen productions, working with Clint Eastwood, Martin Landau, Dorothy Malone, and Ruth Buzzi among others
• Performed as a solo singer/self-accompanist in various nightclubs and cabarets
