The Power Pep Band was formed on the premise that a group of talented, fun-loving musicians, combined with a large repertoire of high-energy music of varying styles, can expand beyond the athletic arena and create a powerful, and entertaining show. We cover dozens of tunes of all types, from classic rock to Latin favorites, from oldies to modern hits, and we have been electrifying Portland-area audiences since October 1999

The band incorporates a rich mix of college traditions, with alumni hailing from The Pennsylvania State University, University of Washington, Washington State University, Southern Oregon University, University of Oregon, Oregon State University, George Fox University, Portland State University and the University of California at Berkeley among others. Our members represent a diverse range of professions, including accounting, business, and various engineering fields. We share a love of music and have chosen to spend our free time having fun with like-minded friends while entertaining Portland-area crowds. All band members are volunteers who never receive a dime; any money collected goes into the band fund for instruments, music, and uniforms. We're in it simply for the fun, and our enthusiasm and excitement never fails to rub off on the crowd.

Our fees are flexible enough to fit into ANY budget. We often play for charitable organizations free of charge and stand in strong support of local school music programs, eager to help any way we can from fund-raising to musical support.
