The Oregon Chamber Quartet was formed by members of the Oregon Chamber Players in 2002 out of necessity after dozens of requests from people wanting a string quartet to play at concerts, weddings, corporate parties and other special events. This quartet differs from a standard string ensemble with violin, viola, cello and OBOE for an infusion of color and elegance...a lovely and distinctive Chamber Music sound.

We’ve performed outdoor weddings in flower-strewn fields and gardens, a candle-lit ceremony in Portland’s Governor Hotel and wedding receptions at country clubs, private homes, and even a private party at Portland’s Center for the Performing Arts.
