La Rhonda's soulful vocal style began in a small church in Oklahoma. After re-locating to Portland, Oregon, her professional singing career took off.

Today, her band plays the exciting sounds of R&B, Funk, Pop, and Jazz, to rock out any party! For an unforgettable evening, festival, or any event where the finest music is needed, let La Rhonda's band take over the bandstand...your guests will be talking about it for weeks!

A few highlights of her electifying career include appearances at the Lincoln Center in New York, the 2002 Winter Olympic Torch Lighting Ceremony in downtown Portland's Pioneer Courthouse Square, the Waterfront Blues Festival, the Mount Hood Jazz Festival, and at the dedication of the Oregon Historical Society's wing addition and hosting of the Declaration of Independence.

She accompanied and sang back-up for Portland's legendary blues artist, Curtis Salgado on a Blues Cruise to the Caribbean in the winter of 2010.

Returning to her strong gospel roots, she is the musical director along with Linda Trotta of the Friend's Gospel Chorus and the Sista Mattie Gospel Trio.

Along with pianist, Theo Burke, Ms. Steele is the co-leader of the Rose City Gospel Ensemble.

With over twenty years experience playing piano professionally, Mark Steele has developed a fluid style that creates the perfect atmosphere for any event. Mark studied Performance and Composition at Cal State Long Beach, and has had the honor of performing with such legendary musicians as Lionel Hampton, Clark Terry, the late LeRoy Vinnegar and Ronnie Laws. While playing music in California he created musical arrangements for Cal State's Contemporary Music Ensemble (an 18 pc Big Band).

Mark's career and training has allowed him to become fluent in performing many different styles of music such as Jazz, Top 40, Country, Rhythm and Blues and Reggae. Mark's first love is jazz.
