Jim Fischer - pianist, composer, producer, recording artist and entertainer - is known for his extensive repertoire and an expressive musical touch that has pleased audiences worldwide. Jim's international credits include performances with the cruise lines of Holland America (Mediterranean) and Royal Caribbean (Carribean & Mexico), and a month long engagement in Tokyo, Japan. Other credits include performances with The Ink Spots, Dianne Schuur and Gino Vannelli and Luci Arnez. Those in the Portland/Vancouver Metropolitan area can find Jim performing every week at local nightspots as noted on his website calendar. His talent is in high demand for private and corporate events. Jim regularly teams up with Vancouver Symphony Concert Master, violinist Alexander Gokhman in a duo known as Alla Breve. He often plays keyboards with the local bands of Five Guys Named Moe and a kid’s act “The Rockaroos.” In addition to his live performances, Jim keeps busy with his own production company, Music Box Productions. He produces recordings for private artists, commercial soundtracks, accompaniment tapes, spoken word and special music projects. |
