The band features original Brasilian/Afro-Cuban Jazz along with the music of Djavan, Airto, Milton Nascimento, a medley of songs by Caetano Veloso and a lovely tribute to the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim. Their exotic sound gets a room shaking (occasionally with humor:) through musical virtuosity and beautiful melodies, combining rhythms from around the world.

The group, Bossa Nouveau, includes a guitarist, bassist, drummer, vocalist, and sax player. They are available for bookings internationally as well as nationally, and will perform at concerts, benefits, charitable events, clinics, TV or radio shows, and interviews. Bossa Nouveau performs to audiences of all ages.

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jorge Zamorano on September 11, 2008, after a courageous, 3 1/2 yr. battle with cancer. He was an outstanding musician, composer, beloved teacher, soccer coach, husband and father, and all-around warm and wonderful human being. He will be sorely missed!
